Are you guys closed? I went by today and my heart broke yet again I didn't see the sign my mom ran it til the day she died and it was her everything after she passed my dad took over but at that point it was just a hobby, somewhere to go, and the girls were his friends (that is the girls that were fired after he passed,) it literally hadn't brought in ANY income in years just small sales, clean and sets to regulars, things like that. My dad just wanted to hold on to a piece of my mom I mean HE CAME OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET every single month to pay the girls wages and pay rent and maintain the business. Out of his pocket meaning HE SPENT HIS PENSION keeping the business open! It was BLEEDING HIM DRY before he passed away! HE EVEN GOT A LOAN ON OUR HOUSE JUST TO KEEP IT OPEN! WHICH IS PART OF THE REASON I WAS LEFT HOMELESS AFTER HE DIED the loan he took out on the house, just to maintain his hobby! And he was so kind he couldn't stand the thought of the girls that worked there being fired or out of work so he was going broke to make sure they weren't and that I (his daughter) would always have a roof over my head! The family disobeyed his wishes and now if I'm right, my mom's business that she worked so hard for, that when she was alive, it was THRIVING incredibly sad it's just gone! I was left homeless and penniless AND my dad's friends were fired and sent on their way!!! I'm incredibly heartbroken! Everything my dad worked so hard for and so hard to protect us gone! Maybe this wasn't the right place to vent like this... But I don't know anyplace that a word I say matters good luck to you I really hope you weren't lead to believe the shop was anything more thsn an object with immense sentimental value i really hope you weren't lead to believe it was a lucrative business venture cause it hadnt been worth anything but sentiment in almost 20 yrs

Novice wig shopper. Went to Wigs by Mary Lou and was met with wonderful information on the "how tos" of caring for a wig. I was able to try on multiple styles. The customer service was excellent. I really enjoyed my experience. I love my new hair and will be returning.

After going through this hard time, being out of work, medical bills and loss of energy. The last thing I wanted to think about was getting a wig. I was embarrassed and scared. I was referred to Wigs by Mary Lou by my oncologist.
upon arriving I scheduled a private consultation.. and was welcomed with care and empathy. Linda Lou offered me some water as she could see I was worried. But after trying on a few styles. I felt confident again, my smile returned.

I was assisted by a very helpful young man who brought and adjusted all the wigs I wanted to try, and went in the back many times to look for different colors etc. I loved the dressing rooms- they are cozy and nicely decorated. The customer service I received was so good, and that is so rare these days! The wig I chose was a high quality synthetic, reasonably priced, and very realistic - not shiny and cheap like the ones at Party City or something. Dealing with my hair loss has been one of the hardest things in my life. I was so embarrassed and put off going into a shop for months.
